The week in Pittsburgh
Instead of shipping features, last week we shipped the entire company to Pittsburgh for our bi-annual offsite. City of Bridges, the Paris of Pennsylvania — not to mention the birthplace of Andy Warhol and home to Frank Lloyd Wright’s most famous house — we couldn’t think of a better place to chart Dia’s course for the summer.
Monday: The Mattress Factory
We had the whole museum to ourselves to kickoff our time in Pittsburgh — dinner, drinks, immersive art installations.
One highlight: Yayoi Kusama's Infinity Dots Mirrored Room.
Infinite Fabrices in the infinity room.
Tuesday: The Andy Warhol Museum
We spent the morning in breakout sessions, and the afternoon wandering through seven floors of Warhol. That night everyone split off into small dinners around the city, sitting with people we talk to everyday online, but who live three time zones away.
Wednesday: The Carnegie Museum
The Carnegie International — one of the oldest recurring exhibitions of contemporary art in the world, running since 1896 — was on display during our visit. We spent the day working from the museum, ducking into galleries between breakout sessions.

Wednesday Night: Fallingwater
The main event: we traveled out into the Pennsylvania countryside to Fallingwater: Frank Lloyd Wright's most famous house, cantilevered over a waterfall in the middle of the woods. We had cocktails at the house and dinner in a barn nearby, nestled into the woods. When I say that photos don't do this place justice, you just have to take my word for it.
Thursday: The Last Day
After checking out, people fanned across the city on their own: the National Aviary, Randyland, and Frick Park Market — a pilgrimage for the Mac Miller fans on the team.
Thanks Pittsburgh! Until next time!
