Everyone's Dia looks a little different: what you keep pinned, what you bookmark, and how quickly you move. This week’s release focuses on making your space behave the way you want (and need it to). With improvements to layout, organization, and performance, Dia moves with you as your setup evolves.

Creating a Tab Group is usually intentional: You have a project, a theme, or something you want to return to. Dia now reflects that by 

 when they’re created.

This keeps important groups anchored in your tabs (kinda like how Folders worked in Arc 👀) and reduces the need to constantly reorganize as your tab list grows.

Accidentally closing a window shouldn’t mean losing your tabs, your hard work, or your customized set up.

You can now reopen a closed window from the File menu and get all of your tabs back in 

. No digging through your history or manually reopening tabs one by one required!

The Bookmarks Bar now only shows Tab Groups you’ve explicitly closed and moved there. Before, it showed all Tab Groups, even ones still open in other windows. Now, what you see reflects your intent—plus, it keeps your setup tidy and easier to manage.

When you’re organizing your space visually, even the little layout details matter. Groups now display more cleanly and predictably.

We fixed a tab truncation issue in the Tab Strip when Tab Groups are present to improve spacing and label clarity.

When you’re switching contexts (or going undercover 🕵️), visual cues matter. Incognito windows now launch in 

. This makes it easier to recognize where you are, especially when you’re moving quickly between windows.

Startup is now significantly faster on lower-spec machines!

We found that large favicon caches could grow to tens of thousands of entries over time, which slows down startup on machines with limited memory or slower storage. By capping the cache at 1,000 entries (more than enough for everyday use) launch is now nearly instantaneous after the first run.
